Description

A Baikal shotgun is a type of firearm manufactured by the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant (now known as Kalashnikov Concern) in Russia. They are basic, utilitarian shotguns known for being relatively inexpensive and reliable. The MP-153 is a common Baikal model; it’s a gas-operated semi-automatic  typically used for hunting and sport shooting.

While Baikal shotguns are praised for their functionality, they are often described as having a utilitarian appearance with less refined finishes compared to more expensive shotguns. The focus is on practicality and durability rather than aesthetics.
