The heart of the firearm is the billet BAD-GS 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum receiver and free-float rail handguard with M-LOK attachment points at 3, 6, and 9 o\u2019clock positions. At 12 o\u2019clock is a full-length Picatinny accessory rail with our signature notch cut matching the upper receiver. Every firearm is equipped with a 4150 chrome-moly steel barrel and 8620 steel black nitride blow-back bolt for ultimate reliability and ease of cleaning. Each XIPHOS\u2122 is built with our patented 9mm buffer system that reduces weight, felt recoil and wear.<\/p>\n
Raising the bar even higher, every XIPHOS\u2122 is outfitted with the new industry standard-setting RACK\u2122 ambidextrous charging handle with monolithic handle and smooth side sliding latch that is built to take abuse. It is loaded with numerous enhanced components such as our extended magazine release, enhanced takedown\/pivot pins for easy tool-less breakdown, one-piece magazine catch, enhanced bolt catch, user-adjustable three-position pistol grip, and enhanced single side safety.<\/p>\n
